Life can be good. Enjoying the beauty of nature, hearing your children’s laughter, a peaceful heart, a shared kiss and a tender touch that speaks volume of a love shared are just some reasons for a person to feel life IS indeed good!

However, life can also be filled with complexity, unfairness and confusing circumstances. You can be happy and contented in one minute; shocked and reeling with confusion the next. You can enjoy happy news yesterday. Today?… There’s a lot of bad news swamping you. Life can be so frustrating!

At times like this, I take heed encouraging words despite every negative events:

“Adversity is another way to measure
the greatness of individuals. I never had
a crisis that didn’t make me stronger.”
– Lou Holtz

It has been my philosophy of life that
difficulties vanish when faced boldly.”
– Isaac Asimov

“If you want to be happy, set a goal that
commands your thoughts, liberates your
energy, and inspires your hopes.”
– Andrew Carnegie

“Strength does not come from winning
Your struggles develop your strength.
When you go through hardship
and decide not to surrender,
that is strength.”

“The greatest mistake you can make in
life is to be continually fearing
you will make one.”
– Elbert Hubbard

“You are a living magnet. What you
attract into your life is in harmony
with your dominant thoughts.”
– Brian Tracy

“You must take personal responsibility.
You cannot change the circumstances,
the seasons, or the wind, but
you can change yourself”
– Jim Rohn

“What lies behind us, and what lies
before us are small matters
compared to what lies within us.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
